dark blue is the colour of dawn
in the never-ending fields of my exile
ash and bougainvilleas
are gently shed from the abyss, upon this forsaken place
all year long
what an impressive sight!

for the wandering rider passing-by
I sit upon the edge of the road and cry out:
"how I long to taste your ignorance, young man"
and show him with utterly despair
my two eyes, shining in my calloused hands

Dark blue is the colour
the colour of dawn,
in the never-ending fields of my exile:
this land I' ve now come to call home.

Ash and bougainvilleas
are gently shed from the abyss up above,
upon this forsaken place.
All year long!

What an impressive sight, oh my!
for the wandering rider passing-by.
I sit upon the edge of the road and cry out:

"How I long to taste your ignorance, young man.
But fate's been cruel and so it seems I can't"
I mumbled and laughed, whilst cursing, again and again
while cuddling with my eyes, shining in my calloused hand.

Ash and bougainvilleas.
